Former Manchester City footballer Kiki Musampa has been arrested.
İdman.biz reports that the 48-year-old former midfielder is being investigated in the Netherlands for tax fraud.
The Dutch Fiscal Information and Investigation Service (FIOD) accuses Musampa of evading more than 100,000 euros (approximately £86,500 / $117,462) in taxes. It is reported that he presented himself as a foreign taxpayer while working and earning income in the country. With this scheme, he earned more than 100,000 euros.
Dutchman Musampa played for Ajax, Atletico Madrid, Malaga, Manchester City and Bordeaux during his career, which lasted until 2019.
