He will wear the national team's captain's armband for the first time in the first game of 2026, against Israel. The game will be held on Thursday, March 26.
Georgia will play two games during the current international break. In addition to Israel, the team will also face Lithuania. The second game will be held on Sunday, March 29.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has played 47 games for the national team. The 25-year-old winger has scored 20 goals and provided 10 assists.
