Former midfielder of the Ukrainian national team, Dmytro Khomchenovsky, shared his expectations about the Ukraine-Azerbaijan match, which will be held as part of the IV round of the 2026 World Cup qualifying round.
Idman.biz reports that he said the game against Azerbaijan will not be easy.
According to Khomchenovsky, the Azerbaijani national team already feels that they can score points: "That's why the game will not be easy. It is important to maintain team spirit, use speed correctly, shoot from outside the penalty area and win fights - in my opinion, these will be the keys to victory".
It should be noted that the meeting will be held on October 13 in Krakow.
