Khayal Najafov: Qualifying for European Cups makes the season successful

- After 32 years, "Turan Tovuz" qualified for the European Cups. The joy of the fans was great. How did this affect you, and how did the management congratulate you?

- From the first day, the management and coaches believed in us, motivated us to be better. "Turan Tovuz" fans had been waiting for this day for many years and experienced that joy. The most important thing for me is that the new generation also saw this success.

- How do you rate the season for yourself? Could it have been better? For example, in terms of reaching the cup final?

- It could have been better. But overall, this is also considered a success for us. It was still possible to achieve higher results.

- At the beginning of the season, you played little, then you got into the main squad. What was the reason for this, and how do you rate this season?

- This was the head coach's decision. I can't say anything.

- How do you assess the overall course of the championship? Were you expecting "Sabah" to win the championship?

- I rate the season well because we qualified for European Cups. Hopefully, it will be even better. As for the "Sabah" team, it is a compact team that plays compactly both in defense and attack. They showed that they deserved the championship with their game.

- Will you stay at "Turan Tovuz", or are there other offers? What is the situation in general?

- There are offers, but we will make a decision after the last round.

- Have you received offers from Azerbaijan and abroad? It is said that the "Shafa" club is also interested in you.

- There are offers from both foreign and local clubs. But we will make a final decision at the end of the season.

- What will be the goal in the upcoming rounds? There is a formal game with "Shamakhi" in the next round.

- The championship is not over yet, including the game with "Shamakhi". We will go out to win every game.
