"Khankendi" showed character in the match against "Quba" in the first qualifying round of the Azerbaijan Cup, winning 2:1.
This was stated to "Report" by Emin Guliyev, a player representing the region.
The footballer said the game was intense:
"It was a tense game. But we managed to come back and showed character. We are preparing for the upcoming match against "Garadagh Lokbatan". We want to prepare well and win."
He said they had difficulties in the first half of the match:
"There were two different halves. We didn't play well in the first half. We recovered after the break with the instructions of the coaches and player changes. We scored the goals in time. We finished the game with a victory."
It should be noted that "Khankendi" will face "Difai" in the second qualifying round of the Azerbaijan Cup.
