"Khankendi" lost to "Difai" (1:2) in the II qualifying round of the Azerbaijan Cup, conceding goals due to positional errors.
This was stated to "Report" by the head coach of "Khankendi" club, Ibrahim Uzunca.
He evaluated the match against "Difai" in the II qualifying round of the Azerbaijan Cup:
"It was a high-level game. The first half was dominated by us. In the second half, the opponent took a bit of a risk and increased the pressure. We conceded two goals due to our positional errors and eventually lost with a score of 1:2. Nevertheless, we fought until the end. I congratulate the opponent and wish them success in the upcoming matches. We will focus on the next match against "Shamkir". Our goal is the championship. We want to raise "Khankendi" to the league it deserves. I believe that we will achieve our goal through great struggle, self-confidence, and dedication. I congratulate the players for today's fight.".
