The victory of the Azerbaijani Second League club "Khankendi" over "Quba" in the second round gave special motivation to the team.
This was stated by the goalkeeper of the region's representative, Shahin Zakiyev, in an interview with "Report".
He emphasized that they will try to continue the winning streak:
"Victories are very important for us. We had a good start to the championship. In the first round, we defeated "Dinamo", and in the second game, "Quba" with a score of 4:0. A big victory over "Quba" gave us a different motivation. Because the opponent is one of the teams playing for the championship, they have good teams and coaches. One of the most important issues is that we have not conceded a goal in two games. This is the result of the efforts of the whole team. Our defenders performed well in both rounds. Our main goal is to fight together and continue the winning streak."
It should be noted that after the II round, "Khankendi" is in the second place of the tournament table with 6 points.
