Second League club "Khankendi" has suffered a serious loss. Sport24.az reports that the team's footballer Ilyas Safarzadeh was seriously injured in the 29th minute of the match against "Shirvan", which was held today as part of the 11th round of the league, after hitting an advertising shield.
The 29-year-old footballer was immediately taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The footballer's leg was stitched up 5 times in the hospital. Doctors said that the footballer will be away from the green fields for at least 2 weeks.
