The winner of the AFFA Regional League 2024/2025 season has been determined.
Idman.biz reports that "Shirvan" and "Khankendi" faced each other in the final match of the tournament.
The decisive game, which took place at the Gabala city stadium, ended with a 3:0 victory for Khankendi. The team's goals were scored by Bayram Aliyev, Huseyn Akhundov and Elariz Khalili.
In the match for third place, "Agstafa Gencleri" defeated "Goyazan" with a score of 5:2.
It should be noted that the winner of the Regional League has gained the right to play in the Azerbaijan II League next season. The defeated "Shirvan" players will play a play-off match with "Lerik", who finished the II League in 13th place.
