Napoli midfielder Kevin De Bruyne will not be able to help his team in the upcoming Champions League match against Qarabag.
According to Idman.Biz, citing Sky Sport, the Belgian has been diagnosed with a tear in his right thigh.
He will be out of action for three to four months and may require surgery if conservative treatment is unsuccessful.
Therefore, De Bruyne will miss the Champions League group stage match between Napoli and Qarabag, which will be held in Italy on November 26.
The player suffered the injury in the 8th round of Serie A in the 3:1 victory over Inter. Napoli is currently 23rd in the Champions League standings with three points, while Qarabag is 13th with six points.
