16-year-old midfielder Kenneth Eichhorn of Hertha, playing in the German Second Bundesliga, broke the record of Jude Bellingham, who plays for Real Madrid in Spain. Sport24.az reports that the teenage footballer achieved this in the 1/8 final stage of the German Cup, in the match where they defeated Kaiserslautern (6:1) at their home stadium.
K. Eichhorn became the youngest goalscorer in the German Cup after World War II. He did this at the age of 16 years and 128 days.
It should be noted that C. Bellingham achieved this feat at the age of 17 years and 77 days.
