British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has made a firm demand to Roman Abramovich, the former owner of the English club "Chelsea".
Idman.Biz reports with reference to "The Times" that Starmer demands Abramovich to give approximately 2.5 billion pounds sterling from the sale of "Chelsea" to Ukraine.
However, the Russian billionaire does not accept this demand and has already formed a team of high-level lawyers. It is reported that among these lawyers is a former advisor to former US President Donald Trump.
It is noted that Abramovich is ready to resolve the issue in court through lawyers and intends to put forward legal arguments against the position of the Starmer government.
It should be reminded that according to reports released in 2023, Abramovich insisted on fulfilling the initial conditions regarding the proceeds from the sale. According to these conditions, the money should be distributed not only to Ukraine, but also to help those affected by the war in Russia.
