Manchester United and Brazil national team midfielder Casemiro commented on the expiration of his contract with the Manchester club after Brazil's friendly match against France.
Idman.Biz reports that the game ended 2-1 in favor of France.
"I'm still enjoying [it at Manchester]. I think the announcement has been made. I have received great support from the fans. But I really believe that the decision has been made. I'm enjoying life now. I think these [last] games in Manchester will be difficult [emotional] moments," The Athletic quotes Casemiro as saying.
Casemiro will leave Manchester United when his contract expires in the summer of 2026. This announcement was made in January 2026. The midfielder confirmed his decision, stating that an announcement regarding his future had already been made and that he believed it was final. It was reported that Inter Miami, Los Angeles Galaxy and Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad are interested in the midfielder.
