Kazakhstan has submitted a bid to host the UEFA Conference League final in 2028 and 2029. UEFA has released this information, reports Sport24.az.
Kazakhstan plans to hold the final match at a stadium in Almaty or Astana (the exact location will be determined later). Kazakhstan's rivals include France (Lille stadium), Hungary (Budapest stadium), Italy (Turin stadium), Poland (Gdańsk stadium), and Finland (Helsinki stadium only for the 2029 final).
The continental football body will approve the final candidates for the Conference League final in June 2026. The host country will be approved at the UEFA Executive Committee meeting in September 2026.
