"Kayrat"'s head coach Rafael Urazbakhtin spoke about his team's match against "Real Madrid" in the 2nd round of the UEFA Champions League.
Idman.biz reports that the match ended with a score of 5:0 in favor of the Madrid team.
"What can I comment on? We are in different weight classes. We have to accept it. We gained invaluable experience against such an opponent. Losing is always bad. We tried and had moments when we played well. We probably could have scored a goal. But it didn't work out. I thank the guys and the fans. I guess we didn't bring "Real Madrid" here for nothing.
The more often we bring such teams to Kazakhstan, the more beneficial it will be for the whole country. The club will also grow, and so will the players," Urazbakhtin said.
In the first round of the Champions League, "Kayrat" lost to "Sporting" with a score of 1:4. In the next stage, the Almaty team will face "Pafos" (October 21).
