In the 26th week of the Turkish Super League, "Kasımpaşa" and "Eyüpspor", two teams positioned at the bottom of the league table, faced each other. The match, which was of great importance for both teams, ended with a minimal 1-0 victory for the home side.
İdman.Biz reports that Adria Benediçak scored the goal in the 33rd minute, bringing the important three points to "Kasımpaşa", led by Emre Belözoğlu. The Istanbul representative, managing to maintain the score for the remainder of the game, ended its three-game winless streak.
After this result, "Kasımpaşa", reaching 24 points, managed to escape the relegation zone – 14th place. "Eyüpspor", however, remains in the danger zone with 22 points.
It should be noted that "Kasımpaşa" will be the guest of "Beşiktaş" in the next round. In that match, İrfan Can Kahveci, who filled his yellow card limit, will not be able to help his team. "Eyüpspor" will host "Trabzonspor" at home.
