The owner of the Turkish club "Kasımpaşa" has been handed over to the state after an arrest warrant was issued for him in connection with an investigation into fraud and money laundering.
According to Idman.biz, the investigation began in connection with Can Holding's acquisition of several broadcasting companies in December 2024. Prosecutors said there were "serious suspicions" of money laundering in the deal.
Siner currently lives outside of Turkey. He is a well-known businessman involved in mining, energy and glass industries. The businessman has not yet made a public statement on the matter.
"Kasımpaşa" has collected 8 points from 7 games this season and is in 11th place in the Turkish Super League standings.
