Bayern Munich forward Karl Lenart has become the youngest player to score a Champions League goal for the club.
Idman.Biz reports that the forward scored in the third round of the tournament against Brugge. He is 17 years and 8 months old.
The previous record belonged to Samuel Kuffour. He scored against Moscow Spartak in 1994. Lenart is also Bayern's youngest goalscorer in European competitions, surpassing midfielder Toni Kroos, who scored in the UEFA Cup match against Crvena Zvezda in October 2007, by one month and 21 days.
Karl has been with Bayern since July 2022 and made his club debut on June 15, 2025, in a FIFA Club World Cup match against Auckland (10-0).
The goal against Brugge was the forward's debut goal for Bayern. Before that, he had not scored in 9 matches he participated in.
