"Shamakhi" club will part ways with one of its leading football players at the end of the season.
İdman.Biz reports, citing sport24.az, that Swiss striker Karim Rossi will not stay in the team.
Although the club management offered the 31-year-old forward a new contract, the player did not accept this offer. It is reported that Rossi has more favorable offers from other clubs and intends to continue his career with a higher salary.
The striker, who joined "Shamakhi" in 2025, has become one of the team's most productive players this season, scoring 9 goals in the Premier League and 3 in the Azerbaijan Cup.
It should be noted that Karim Rossi's contract with "Shamakhi" expires at the end of the season.
