Whether "Kapaz" club will play one of its home matches at Ganja City Stadium this season depends on the readiness of the grass cover.
Garay Giyasov, director of the Media and Marketing Department of "Ganja" club, told report.az that they will apply to the Professional Football League (PFL) if the arena is ready.
"The stadium is under the control of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The club has not been officially told that it will be ready for the match with "Neftchi". If it is not officially said that it will be ready by then, we will apply to the PFL," he said.
Sanan Abdullayev, Media and Marketing Director of PFL, stated that the organization has not received any appeal from "Kapaz" club regarding the inspection of the stadium.
Let us remind you that "Kapaz" will face "Neftchi" in the last - 33rd round of the Misli Premier League. That match is scheduled for the end of May.
It should be noted that "Kapaz" has been playing away from its home ground for three seasons due to the reconstruction carried out at Ganja City Stadium. The team plays its home matches in Gabala, Tovuz and Yevlakh, respectively.
