An interview with Kapaz football player Diogo Verdaska on Sport24.az
- You won against Qarabag in the 25th round of the Misli Premier League. What can you say about the game?
- My opinion about the victory over Qarabag is that we made the most of our opportunities and scored. As a team, we showed resilience and played compactly in defense. This is a very important three points for us on the way to our goal.
- Can this match be considered the game of the season for you?
- I don't think it was the game of the season. I think every match is like a final for us and as a team we have shown that we can defeat any opponent.
- You have won two consecutive victories against Qarabag. How did you achieve this?
- The reason we won both games is that we performed as a team. We play compactly, we can endure difficult moments and we make good use of the opportunities that arise.
- Do you think Kapaz decided the fate of the championship in the Premier League?
- There is still a long way to go in the league, a lot can change. This is football. But my main focus is to help Kapaz stay in the Premier League.
- If I'm not mistaken, your contract with Kapaz is expiring. Has a new contract been offered?
- Yes, my contract is about to expire. As for issues related to a new contract, I prefer to keep these conversations private. My focus is currently on my work and I am trying to give my best.
