"Kapaz" club failed to bring back its former football player Rati Ardazishvili.
According to the head coach of the Ganja representative, Azer Baghirov, they contacted the midfielder to strengthen the squad during the winter break.
"We know this football player, his playing style is familiar to us. We thought he would not have adaptation problems. However, the financial terms did not match. Rati received a more favorable offer from another club. Therefore, the transfer did not take place," he said in a statement to "Report".
A. Baghirov added that they are not considering parting ways with other players in the winter:
"We parted ways with two football players - Kacper Rosa and Pedro Gomes. We don't want other players to leave. Because our squad is not that wide. We are currently negotiating with local football players. We want to resolve their transfers. If a legionnaire is to be involved, we want him to be a football player who has played in Azerbaijan or "Kapaz". Because we don't want him to have adaptation problems. We are thinking of using the services of football players whose game we are familiar with."
It should be noted that "Kapaz" finished the first half of the 2025/2026 season of the Misli Premier League in tenth place with 9 points.
