"Kapaz" established the "Ganja Football Legends" council and elected its chairman

A new council – "Ganja Football Legends" – has been established under the "Kapaz" Professional Football Club.

The club's press service told "Report" about this.

The event was attended by Ruslan Mammadov, head of infrastructure of "Kapaz" PFC, selection coach Ali Rahimov, head coach of the team Azer Baghirov, assistant coach Zaur Asadov, as well as former football players who left a deep mark on Ganja football.

The meeting participants first commemorated the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and independence of our country, as well as the deceased football players, with a minute of silence.

Then, Ruslan Mammadov, the head of the club's infrastructure, spoke about the purpose of creating the council. He said that the main goal of the council is to preserve the historical heritage of Ganja football, to strengthen the relationship between experienced football players and the younger generation.

R.Mammadov also announced the slogan of the council - "Legends do not remain in the past - they build their future."

He nominated Ali Rahimov for the position of chairman of the council. The participants supported the proposal and Ali Rahimov was elected chairman of the "Ganja Football Legends" council. Expressing his gratitude for the trust, Ali Rahimov spoke about the future plans of the council and emphasized the importance of joint activities in the direction of the development of Ganja football.

At the end of the event, former football players expressed their opinions, shared their suggestions and comments. A souvenir photo was taken with the meeting participants.
