The new head coach of "Kapaz" will not be a foreigner.
This was stated to "Report" by Erkin Ibrahimov, advisor on sports issues of the Ganja representative.
He spoke about the resignation of head coach Azer Bagirov the previous day:
"The misunderstanding was not based on one issue. There were disagreements on many topics. The parties' views on the future did not coincide. However, none of this changes the fact that Azer Bagirov was beneficial to Ganja football. He is remembered for his good work for the team. We also wanted to continue with him. But the conditions were not suitable. Yesterday is gone, we must look to the future."
The club official emphasized that the name of the new head coach may be clarified within the next 10 days:
"I cannot give a specific date. We have names in mind. We are considering which of these specialists will be more successful. Work is ongoing. I want to state with confidence that the new head coach will not be a foreigner."
