"We do not consider the first round satisfactory for the team. Luck turned its back on us." These words were said by Kanan Karimov, the vice-president of "Karvan-Yevlakh", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The football functionary evaluated his team's performance in the first round of the Misli Premier League:
"We lost in the game with 3 teams fighting for the championship, if we had taken at least 4 points in the games with them, we would have been in a better place in the tournament table. We had a successful start to the season. Gradually, the injury of some football players had an impact. After the PFL's decision, we will host "Kapaz" at the Yevlakh city stadium. We will try to improve our results in front of our fans. We had a conversation with head coach Azer Hashimov about the result. We are a newly formed team. The head coach needs to be given time. Defeat is inevitable in football."
It should be noted that "Karvan-Yevlakh" is in 11th place with 5 points after the first rounds.
