"Gabala" lost to "Turan Tovuz" with a score of 0:1 in the away match within the IV round of the Misli Premier League. Sport24.az reports that after the game, the head coach of "Gabala", Kakhaber Tskhadadze, answered journalists' questions at the press conference:
"I can say very briefly about the game that we conceded an unnecessary goal. The team is actually playing well, but we can't take advantage of goal opportunities. Everyone in the club also knows that there is a need to strengthen the squad. Work is being done in this direction."
- Can it be noted that you played against strong teams in 4 rounds?
- We can say that the first 4 rounds are difficult on the calendar. But regardless of which round it was, we had to play with these teams. Coming to this game, I can honestly say that the opponent did not surpass us much. We have few reserve players. There must be competition in the team. If we look at the previous games, only "Araz-Nakhchivan" surpassed us after the goal.
- As you know, the Azerbaijani national team is looking for a head coach. In your opinion, would it be more effective to have a local head coach in the national team, or a foreign one?
- Aykhan Abbasov is currently the head coach of the national team. (laughs). In my subjective opinion, it would be better if a local head coach worked in the national team. Because I myself once worked in the Georgian national team. This is such a matter that the head coach in the national team does not have much time to work with the players. They need to be prepared for games in a short time. From a psychological point of view, a local coach can better convey the idea that the head coach wants to convey to the players. One-on-one communication is more effective at that moment. Aykhan Abbasov's presence in the national team for 2 days manifested itself in the team. I'm not saying that Santos is a weak coach. But again, I state that it could be more successful if there was a local coach.
