"I will remember this season with love." Sport24.az reports that these words were said by Qarabag football player Kadi Borges in an interview with journalists.
The 29-year-old midfielder shared his thoughts after the award ceremony of the Aghdam representative, who won the 2024/2025 season in the Misli Premier League:
"When you return to the club you left, there are certain doubts. Thank God, it was successful for me. I won the championship again with the team. We celebrated it today. From tomorrow, we will start thinking about the next games."
The Brazilian player also spoke about the final match of the Azerbaijan Cup against Sabah on May 31:
"I think it will be an interesting and big game like all the finals I have played so far. I don't think there will be so many goal opportunities. I hope the deserving one will win."
K. Borges also spoke about the goals in the Champions League: "As every year, this year our goal is to qualify for the main stage. I hope it will work out this time."
The experienced player said the following about the possible return of his compatriot Juninho to Qarabag:
"In fact, this kind of news appears a lot in the press and social networks. You don't have to believe everything that is said. Because a club that pays five million euros for a football player will not easily rent him out. Let's not pay so much attention to such things. Qarabag also has enough potential. There have not been major changes in our squad. Probably new football players will come at the beginning of the season."
