– How did your transfer to Kapaz happen? Why did you prefer to continue your career in Azerbaijan?
– After my contract with Motor club expired, I decided to continue my career abroad, to approach football from a different perspective and with a different culture. At this point, I received an offer from Kapaz and we started negotiations. At the end of the negotiations, we reached an agreement and signed the contract.
– What information did you have about Azerbaijani football before joining Kapaz?
– Before making a decision, I spoke with several players. They only told me positive things about life in Azerbaijan and about the football clubs.
– It was noted that your contract with Kapaz is only for 1 year. Does this mean that you are not planning to stay at the Ganja club for a long time?
– No, it doesn't mean that I don't want to stay here for a long time. It's just that the negotiations were conducted in such a way that a 1-year contract was signed. Time will tell what will happen in the future. I'm not thinking about it right now. I am focusing my main attention on training and getting in my best shape.
– What kind of performance do you expect from Kapaz in the new season?
– I want Kapaz to play brave and uncomplicated football, and for our games to give the fans a lot of emotion and joy. I want to win.
– Kapaz's former goalkeeper, Rojerio Santos, managed to show himself well in Azerbaijan and made many saves here. Will you be able to be remembered for an even better performance than him?
– I hope that the club and the fans will be as satisfied with me as they were with Rojerio. I will do my best for this.
– Do you know Rahil Mammadov, who played in the Polish championship for two years and returned to Azerbaijan a few days ago, as well as Renat Dadashov, who is currently continuing his career in your country? Have you faced them on the field?
– Of course, I know Rahil Mammadov and Renat Dadashov. But I have not had the opportunity to play against them. Renat recently joined my former team. In my opinion, this is a very good choice for him.
