Juventus defender Niccolò Savona suffered a serious injury in the match against Manchester City (2:5) in the 3rd round of the group stage of the Club World Cup. Sport24.az reports that the Turin club's press service has released information about this.
The 22-year-old Italian seriously injured the capsular ligament of his ankle joint and is out for 1 month.
It should be noted that Savona played 40 games in all tournaments for Juventus in the 2024/25 season, scored 2 goals and made 1 assist.
The Turin team will face Real Madrid in the 1/8 finals of the Club World Cup on July 1.
