A strange incident occurred in the Italian Serie A. Despite the Referees Committee admitting its mistake, the player's suspension remains in effect. Sport24.az reports that the Serie A management has announced the disciplinary decisions of the past round.
"Juventus" defender Pierre Kalulu is also on the list.
The chairman of the Referees Committee, Gianluca Rocchi, officially apologized, stating that the second yellow card in that episode was shown incorrectly. However, in accordance with the regulations, the referee's decision was not cancelled because it was recorded in the minutes, and the player was given a 1-match ban.
Thus, Kalulu will not be able to help his team in the championship match against "Como" on February 21.
