"When I took this position, no one knew how it would go. Neither did I. My name is Jurgen Klopp, but to be honest, I had no idea what I was going to do. I'm sure many people thought he wanted to rest, stop coaching, travel a little - something like that - but I know myself so well that I know I won't be happy with that kind of life.
I recently heard that people call me "Totengraeber" – "gravedigger" among coaches, but that's the last thing I want to be. My role is an advisor, but an authorized one. I'm not one to run long distances. This means that I listen to the people in the clubs and trust them a lot. "Sometimes I calm things down, other times I make decisions.
