Former head coach of Dortmund's "Borussia" and "Liverpool", Jurgen Klopp, has been appointed to a new position in the German Football League (DFL).
Idman.Biz reports with reference to "The Sun" that he has been elected as a member of the organization's expert council.
The newly created committee will work on the strategic development of German football and increasing its competitiveness. The group's first results and proposals are expected to be presented in the spring of 2026. The council also includes former Real Madrid player Sami Khedira and a number of Bundesliga club leaders.
This is Klopp's first official job since leaving Liverpool in early 2025. In addition, he currently heads Red Bull's global football projects and oversees the clubs RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg and New York Red Bulls.
