Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has dismissed rumors linking him with a possible appointment at Real Madrid, stating he is tired of the constant gossip.
Idman.Biz reports that since the beginning of 2025, Klopp has been working as the head of football at Red Bull, where he manages four clubs.
"When does news become real news? When someone just writes something on paper, or when there's a bit of truth to it?
How is it supposed to work? Does Real Madrid call me and say, 'Jurgen, can you imagine this?' Does Florentino Perez call and say, 'Jurgen, how are you? Fancy a go?' Or is it enough for some media outlet - artificial intelligence or a human - to write nonsense? It annoys me, and I have to react to it all the time.
If Real Madrid were really to call, it would come out in a flash. But it's all complete nonsense. They've never called! My agent is around, you can ask him - nobody has called him either.
Imagine how long this has been going on... They say I'll also manage Atletico - probably at the same time. You should be a bit more critical of such rumors.
I'm not thinking about it at the moment. But I haven't finished my coaching career yet. I'm not at retirement age. Who knows what will happen in the next few years? Nothing is planned.
Sorry, Real Madrid. You have to call before I can say something," Klopp is quoted as saying by Goal.
