"We have a great chance to play with "Qarabag". But first we need to think about the game with "Ludogorets".
Sport24.az reports that this was stated by Julio Romao, the former football player of "Qarabag", who currently plays for the Hungarian club "Ferencvaros", in an interview with futbolinfo.az.
The Brazilian spoke about being a potential opponent of "Qarabag" in the Champions League play-off stage. The midfielder added that they are first thinking about the return match against "Ludogorets" in the 3rd qualification round: "A difficult game awaits us with the Bulgarian club. We drew 0:0 away, we will play our second match at home. First we will try to defeat them. After that we can think about "Qarabag".
To the question "If you face "Qarabag", will you be happy?" Romao answered this way: "First, we have to beat "Ludogorets" so that I can think about it. Because a tough away match awaits us. All my thoughts are there now".
The midfielder stated that he watched the games played by the Aghdam club in the Champions League so far: "I watched the games of "Qarabag". They are a good team as always, they know how to play in the Champions League. That's why they manage to achieve results".
