Borussia Dortmund striker Julien Duranville has joined Swiss club Basel on loan until the end of the 2025/2026 season.
Idman.Biz reports that the German club announced on its social media account that the striker would join the current Swiss champions.
Duranville's contract with Borussia runs until June 2028. This season, the player has made just two appearances in all competitions and provided one assist. According to Transfermarkt, his value is 7.5 million euros.
After 18 rounds of the Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund is in second place in the standings with 39 points, 11 points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
Basel is fourth in the Swiss Super League after 20 rounds with 33 points. The gap to leader Thun is 10 points.
