Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has asked not to be included in the England squad for the October games.
İdman.biz reports, citing Marca, that the national team's head coach, Thomas Tuchel, confirmed that Bellingham's name was not on the list when announcing the 24-man squad.
According to reports, although the footballer has fully recovered from shoulder surgery, he still does not feel completely ready. Therefore, he did not want to participate in the upcoming matches against Wales and Latvia.
During the international break, Bellingham will stay in Madrid and undergo a short "mini-preseason preparation" under the guidance of head coach Xabi Alonso. The Football Association of England has taken a sympathetic view of the footballer's decision and stated that it would not be right to force him.
It should be noted that the England team will play its next matches on October 9 against Wales at Wembley and on October 14 against Latvia.
