Juan Cruz, the midfielder of the Spanish representative "Leganes", wants to take paternity leave because the club does not want to sell him to another team.
"Report" reports, citing the "Marca" newspaper, that the football player informed the management about his desire to leave the club a few months ago.
Cruz, who decided to leave due to difficulties in getting into the main squad and the team's departure from La Liga, continues his contract with "Leganes". However, no other team can be found that wants to pay the 10 million euros that the club has set for the football player.
The 25-year-old player, who does not want to play in "Leganes", told the management that he will have a child in the near future, and therefore wants to take paternity leave.
According to the source, such a case has never happened in Spanish football.
It should be noted that X. Cruz scored 12 goals in 55 matches for "Leganes".
