"Turan Tovuz" midfielder Josh Cinnelli answered journalists' questions after the match against "Qarabag" (0:1) in the 18th round of the Azerbaijan Premier League yesterday. We present the interview in which the employee of Sport24.az also participated:
- You played your first game in the "Turan Tovuz" squad in the match against "Qarabag". How do you rate your debut?
- Yes, I played my first game. It was my debut match. We wanted to make the fans happy by winning this match. We fell behind in the score near the end of the first half. In the end, we tried to win at least 1 point. But it didn't work out.
- Your debut was against "Qarabag". What information did you have about this opponent?
- I had information about the opponent. I saw on the field today what they are capable of. We could have won a point. Unfortunately, that's how it ended.
- What was missing to win a point?
- Football is a game of episodes. It may seem easy from the outside. But it's not really like that. In the end we had opportunities. But the opponent's goalkeeper played reliably at the last moment.
- To what extent will this defeat affect "Turan Tovuz"'s claim to European Cups?
- As I said, we could have won a point. Although we lost to "Qarabag", there is still a long way to go. We will try to change the situation in the next matches. I believe that with the support of our fans, we will achieve our goal.
- How much time do you need to get in full shape?
- I work on myself every day. I do my best in training. I need some time. I will get in better shape soon, you will see.
