Representatives of Benfica's head coach, Jose Mourinho, have contacted Real Madrid's management and offered the coach's services. This was reported by the "AS" publication, according to Sport24.az.
According to the source, Mourinho's agents have informed the officials of the Madrid club that his contract with Benfica has a clause allowing him to leave by mutual agreement.
It should be noted that the Portuguese coach was "at the helm" of Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013. Under his leadership, the team won La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup. He was also awarded the FIFA "World Coach of the Year" award in 2011.
