Benfica's head coach, Jose Mourinho, refused to go to the press center at the Santiago Bernabeu during the second leg (1-2) against Real Madrid in the Champions League play-off stage. Sport24.az reports with reference to Record that the Portuguese coach watched the game from the club bus because he was penalized.
According to the source, after the match, Mourinho spoke to fans despite the defeat, signed autographs and took pictures with them. El Chiringuito TV has published a video showing the coach getting off the bus to interact with fans.
It should be noted that Real Madrid, the winner of the tie, qualified for the 1/8 finals of the Champions League and will face either Manchester City or Sporting there.
