John van 't Schip has resigned as head coach of the Armenian national football team. Sport24.az reports that the press service of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) has released information about this.
"FFA and the head coach of the national team, John van 't Schip, have decided to terminate cooperation by mutual agreement. The FFA thanks him and his assistants for their professionalism and dedication. Despite the short-term cooperation, we hope that his work has laid the foundation for future progress."
It should be noted that the Dutch specialist had been coaching the Armenian national team since February of this year. His successor is Yegishe Melikyan, the head coach of "Pyunik". A contract has been signed with him until November 2026.
