Chelsea's legendary captain John Terry has put an end to rumors that he will be part of the club's coaching staff. Sport24.az reports that the veteran defender, while answering fans' questions on his social network account, said that he had not received any official offer from the club's management to join interim head coach Calum McFarlane's staff:
"It is currently unknown how the coaching staff will be formed in the main team. Personally, I have not received any calls or messages from either the management or McFarlane. I will be back at the academy tomorrow and continue my work. Our job is to support the team in all circumstances."
The club legend has also not hidden his concern about the team's current situation. He questioned Chelsea's transfer policy and chances of reaching the European zone. According to Terry, uncertainty about the club's future is a serious concern for fans.
It should be noted that the Londoners, who are currently fighting for 7th-8th places in the Premier League, are on the verge of crucial games to qualify for European Cups.
