Former Chelsea captain John Terry has called on the London club's management to bring Brazilian defender Thiago Silva back from Fluminense. Sport24.az reports that the veteran footballer made a statement to The Sun about this:
"Thiago Silva is ready. Listen to me. He is a person with rich experience and excellent relations with our football club. Two of his children study at our academy. He will definitely return to London with his family for Christmas. I would like to see him back at our club. I'm not saying he has to play every week, but the experience the club can gain by playing with such players can probably be compared to the role I played under Antonio Conte's leadership when we won the championship in 2017.
Since his family lives in Europe, the footballer also wants to return to the London club.
It should be noted that Silva played for Chelsea from 2020 to 2024. The defender, who played 155 games for the London club, is remembered with nine goals and five assists. He won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup with the "nobles".
