Portuguese U-21 national team midfielder Joao Simoes shared his thoughts on the EURO-2027 qualifying matches. Sport24.az reports that the Portuguese footballer said the following about the match against the Azerbaijani national team:
"Like all our national games, these games will be very difficult. Because we are playing against their best players. We are studying our opponents to give the best response and in this case win two games. But now we are mainly thinking about the match against Azerbaijan. This is the most important game and we hope to win three points."
It should be noted that the match between Azerbaijan (U-21) and Portugal (U-21) will be held on March 27 at the "Palms Sport Arena" and the game will start at 15:00.
