Al-Nassr's Portuguese forward Joao Felix has clarified his unexpected transfer from Chelsea to the Saudi Arabian giant in the summer of 2025. Sport24.az reports that the Portuguese footballer made a statement to Marca about this:
"I was happy at Chelsea. The London representative is a top club, but I had to take the step I thought was right. The issue of going to the World Championship was also very important. The World Championship is held every four years. But I wasn't playing enough at the English club."
It should be noted that the 25-year-old football player was transferred from Chelsea to Al-Nassr last summer for 30 million euros in cash and 20 million bonuses. Joao has played 37 games for the Saudi Arabian club this season, scoring 21 goals and providing 15 assists.
