Chelsea and Portugal national team striker Joao Felix has reached an agreement in principle with Benfica regarding a transfer. Sport24.az reports that insider Nicolo Schira announced this on his social media account.
According to the source, after agreeing with the footballer, the Portuguese club started negotiations with the Londoners to formalize the contract.
It should be noted that the footballer played for Benfica from 2015-2019. After that, he moved to Atletico Madrid for 127.5 million euros. However, he failed to establish himself in Diego Simeone's team. Chelsea's striker spent half of last season on loan at Milan, scoring 2 goals in 15 Serie A matches.
