Barcelona defender Joao Cancelo has shared his thoughts on his adaptation period and physical preparation after returning to the Catalan club from Al-Hilal.
Idman.Biz reports that Cancelo admitted in his statement after the game against Levante that he was physically behind his teammates.
"When I came from Al-Hilal, I wasn't in my best shape, my physical level wasn't the same as my teammates. I am now gradually returning to my previous high level. Hans-Dieter Flick is very demanding, and so is the club itself. I like that," the defender said.
It should be reminded that Barcelona officially announced on January 13 that they had loaned Cancelo from the Saudi Arabian representative. The defender has previously defended the honor of the Catalans.
Currently, Barcelona leads the Spanish La Liga table with 61 points after 25 rounds. The Catalans are one point ahead of their closest follower, Real Madrid.
