Barcelona president Joan Laporta has reacted to Real Madrid boycotting the Ballon d'Or award ceremony for the second year in a row.
İdman.biz reports that last year the press wrote that the Royal Club decided to boycott the ceremony after learning that the Ballon d'Or would be awarded to Manchester City midfielder Rodri, not Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior.
"Let them do what they want. We take care of Barca. We participated in ceremonies out of respect for the nominees and organizers. This is part of our understanding of sports. You can win or you can lose. But you have to be able to lose. We are lucky that we win a lot and lose little," Laporta said.
