Barcelona president Joan Laporta has commented on media reports about both Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal.
Idman.Biz reports that Laporta, in an interview with Catalunya Radio, denied reports that Messi would return to the team on a short-term loan.
"Out of respect for Messi, our players, and our fans, I can say that this is not a real scenario. It is not the time to discuss such things right now," Laporta emphasized.
The president also highly praised the behavior and development rate of 18-year-old Lamine Yamal:
"Lamine Yamal enjoys life and is incredibly mature for his age. His lifestyle does not bother me."
"The young football player needs the support of both the club and the people around him. He is a true professional, trains seriously every day, and this will take him to a higher level in the future," the club president said.
