Joan Laporta, president of the Spanish club Barcelona, made an emotional speech regarding Ronald Araujo, one of the team's key defenders, and emphasized the importance of providing full support to the player.
Idman.Biz reports that he stated that Araujo has a very sensitive and emotional character.
Laporta noted that such issues must be resolved under the supervision of specialists:
"During our last conversation, I expressed my gratitude to him and told him to come back motivated. These are sensitive topics and must be left to the experts. Araujo is the player we need, we don't have another player with his characteristics."
Touching on Barcelona's transfer policy, the club president stated that the transfer of a world-class player will only be possible if necessary. Speaking to La Vanguardia, Laporta said that having too many star players on the same team does not always yield positive results, and there are vivid examples of this around.
Laporta also clarified important news regarding Barcelona defender Eric Garcia. According to him, a new contract with the player will be signed next week.
